Green Falls Pond Loop Nature Hike
Sat. Jun 3
Celebrate “Trails Day” and join retired National Park Rangers Bob and Jen Panko on a hike around the Green Falls Pond loop. Enjoy fantastic views while you learn about the flora, fauna and history of this popular area. If we are lucky we may see some Loons and other waterfowl on the Pond. This hike follows the rocky shoreline and has some little ups and downs and rocky areas that make the hike of moderate difficulty.
Meeting Location Details
Green Falls Pond Picnic Area is accessible south of Voluntown, CT from both the SR 49 (Fish Road to Green Falls Pond Road) and SR 138 (Green Falls Pond Road) entrances to Pachaug State Forest. Both of these are maintained forest roads.
