Open Event
In celebration of CT Trails Day, Middlebury Land Trust will again be hosting a hike of the Foote Path. Starting at 136 Breakneck Hill Rd., Middlebury, CT, which is the END point of the hike, we will shuttle hikers to the entrance of the Sperry Preserve on Straits Turnpike to begin. If you prefer, you can meet hikers at 11:15 at the starting point, Sperry Pond, off of Straits Turnpike just north of Park Road, but please be aware that parking there is extremely limited. This hike is family and leashed dog friendly. There is a half-way spot on the hike, along Stonewall Drive, where people are able to leave the hike if needed. Following the hike, the Pulawski and Foote families invite you for light refreshments at 136 Breakneck Hill Road.
