Open Event

The Sheets Family Preserve is an Avalonia property that was opened to the public last year. This 87-acre scenic property lies along the Green Fall River. Mixed forest with ponds and brooks to be crossed by bridges. We will start out on the yellow (south loop) and after about 0.75 miles, folks can continue on the south loop to complete an easier 1.4 mile hike – and others can continue onto the red (north loop) which will result on a moderate 2.8 mile hike. There will be leaders for both of these options.

Accessibility Note

Trails: Narrow, steep, compacted soil, with some protrusions.
