Please join three CT Master Gardeners for guided walks at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 am along the Collinsville Pollen Trail, which is a section of the Farmington River Trail running along Allen Place in Collinsville. The trail is paved and level. This segment has been carefully planted and nurtured over the last three years to remove invasive plants and replace them with native flowering plants that support native pollinators, birds, and wildlife. The master gardeners will describe the purpose of a pollinator pathway and explain the process they went through to create this gorgeous, functional landscape. Participants are encouraged to continue their walks on their own along the bike trail in either direction for Trails Day.
