Join us for a hike on the Taine Mountain parcel of Burlington’s 300 acres of preserved open space. Hikers will follow various sections of the Tunxis Trail system with views and a Boy Scout trail with birding area. Flowers of the season & mixed forest types can be seen with varied terrain & some steep areas. Hikers will also learn about the three landowners that had the vision to preserve this magical spot.

From junction of Routes 4 and 69 in the center of Burlington, go on Route 4 East for 2.2 miles. Take a right on Punch Brook. At the first stop sign, turn left on Taine Mountain Rd. Go .6 miles and turn right on Ventres Way. Meet at cul-de-sac.
